Cocoa Brown Coming to Town

I've had the grand opportunity of chatting with Cocoa Brown the Comedian who tried out for America's Got Talent by doing a She does a routine about “being a fat girl in Los Angeles" and won the hearts of the judges as she was given the opportunity to head out to Vegas. I've asked a few questions to Cocoa to find out just who she was and with some feedback, and a promise, we will have an interview from the comedian within the week.

Making the Band 4: Boys Turn

Somehow Diddy has managed to slip this past the average American not stalking him, but Making the Band 4 is scheduled to air Tonight, Monday June 18. Except this time Diddy is looking for an all Boy Band unlike the previous three seasons looking for an all female band which lead to the creation of "Danity Kane." After the grueling casting which they managed through both the original tour method as well as through the popular source, MySpace.

Vh1 Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School

Sunday June 17 Charm School will air and it will be a special episode showing the highlights of this season which will lead up to next sunday, June 24, where America will finally find out who wins the 50,000 and named the winner of Charm School.

The game is between the final four ladies: Saaphyri, Becky, Shay, and Leilene.

Hey Paula!

Bravo has announced Hey Paula, a new docu-reality series that will give viewers a look at American Idol judge Paula Abdul's professional and personal life, will premiere with back-to-back half-hour episodes on Thursday, June 28 beginning at 10PM ET/PT. The seven-episode series will air regularly on Thursdays from 10-10:30PM ET/PT and serve as the start of Bravo's third night of original programming. Originally announced by Bravo in early January and placed on the network's Summer 2007 programming lineup in April, Hey Paula will follow the former Los Angeles Laker Girl and Grammy Award winner as she films the sixth installment of Idol; works on her new Bratz: The Movie project; develops her own line of perfumes and cosmetics; expands her originally-designed jewelry line; markets her clothing line; and fits personal appearances into her demanding schedule.

Of course, the 44-year-old Idol judge/recording artist/choreographer/business woman/producer won't exactly being going it all alone. She'll be joined by "Team Paula," which includes her hairstylist and best friend Daniel; her former publicist and protector Jeff; her full-time wardrobe assistant Kylie; and of course her five Chihuahuas, Bessie, Moo, Thumbelina, Chomps and Tulip. The premiere episode will highlight just how hectic Abdul's life really is, as she and her team prepare her for the Grammys appearance -- but not before Chomps eats a loaned $1 million antique ring for the event --and she receives a call from the Bratz filmmakers, which causes additional drama. The Grammys is followed by a mad dash to the airport -- where she makes her flight with only seconds to spare -- and she lands in Philadelphia at QVC to see her jewelry designs, only to learn they're not what she envisioned.

The second episode of Hey Paula will follow its star as she travels to New York City for a busy week of events, meetings and press. Beginning at the annual dinner for the Young Menswear Association Fashion Scholarship Fund for Parson School of Design, Abdul's presented with the Fashion Icon Award by Project Runway star Tim Gunn. As Abdul continues her busy week on no sleep and a touch of the flu, she must then get through a series of satellite interviews to promote Idol... and we all know how that turned out.

Age of Love

This Monday, June 18, NBC is premiering its new "Bachelor" show with the catchy name, Age of Love. NBC advertises this series as a "social experiment" to test the waters and see if age does play a factor in love, to see if a man is more interested in age or does personality play a role in choosing a woman. All the woman are vying for the love of 30-year-old Australian tennis superstar Mark Philippoussis, haven't heard of him... you?

Feeding the Hunger

For those of us this summer who find ourselves at home bored and feeling a bit hungry, but knowing that if we head to that food cabinet we will come out with the cookie dough and ice cream and the sack of 50 lbs of fat, so as every American at home does to quench their hunger, they watch the Food Network. But that can always get us upset as to how Rachael Ray is able to make those 30 minute meals and not stain her clothing, and we being humans always love competition we can look forward to Season 3 of Top Chef on the Bravo Channel which premieres Tonight June 13 10/9c.

Charm School or Prom School?

Following last Sunday's Flavor of Love Girls : Charm School elimination ceremony which showed the boot to the lovely Bootz who was eliminated for her "cockiness and attitude" according to the host, Monique. It turns out that Buckey or "Shay" opened the can of worms and spilt the secret to Monique of who took the picture thanks to her conscience, although after attempts to help her friend Larissa aka Bootz play the game to get Monique to pity her and forgive her for her sins, all didn't play out as Shay hoped. So we end it with Shay sending a message to her friend telling her to "kick rocks and Deuces..." I don't understand this so please help me decipher the message, it could possibly be some sort of clue to the end of the world...We can all look forward though to this upcoming Sunday where we get to see the girls glam up for a set up Prom where they have to figure out which of possibly 5 or more men are thugs and players and pick the "true man" from the pack, as if there are any true men left in this world? If that doesn't entice your desires then you can look forward to seeing the slut Pumkin' looking as always, and acting like the total whore she is. If I had to make a prediction, I'd have to guess that this weeks elimination ceremony has Pumkin in the hot seat and not only that, but out the door with her bags packed.

Kathy Griffin : My Life on the D-List

Today, Tuesday June 5, Bravo is having a marathon of Kathy Griffin's My Life on the D-List previous season 2 which all will lead up to a special comedy hour of Kathy Griffin and then the premiere of season 3 of Kathy Griffin : My Life on the D-List at 10:00 eastern.Tonight's episode is guaranteed to discuss how Kathy Griffin's marriage had ended with Matt and then moves to how she had pull herself together and unleash her "inner publicity whore." This season of Kathy appears to be as hilarious as its previous seasons based on the first episode which can be viewed before tonight's television airing on the Bravo Website. Also like in the previous year Kathy is having a public vote to get her off the D-List (Remember the infamous sex tape she made with last years winning choice?) This time though we get to vote on who should Kathy date to get off the D-List with choices of Sanjaya, Mario Lopez, K-Fed, Larry Birkhead, or Prince William it looks to have an interesting outcome either way although with current votes Sanjaya is in the lead with an astonishing 71% of the votes, Yikes! New Twist on Flavor of Love

At first we had Flavor of Love then with the startling (cough) ending we looked forward to Flavor of Love 2. Which led many wanting more from Ms. New York and led to the obvious reality hit I Love New York! Now with all of that in the past and dreams of the next season we have yet another Reality T.V. show to entice our desires, which appears to be another spin-off of the popular Flavor of Love we now are presented with the soon to be hit Reality Show, VH1's "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels." With recent television promotions of the show advertising its July 16 release the viewer is acknowledge to the soon to be drama of rocker loving girls who to quote on of the contestants "want a piece of rocker ass."
